MH IN A NATURAL RIVER
For the Hotel of Felgueiras was studied a Micro Hydro, to implant in the natural Rio Mondego, which is an important river in the center region of Portugal. The power to be installed in this Micro Hydro is 150 kW, using a Kaplan turbine type, for the discharge of 3,6 m3/s, with an available head of about 5,3m, and a production of 0,75 GWh/year.
